Let It Loose

Let it loose. Drop it. Release it. Let it go! Imagine how different our lives would be if we only let go of the things that have already let go of us. It's time to release relationships that are long gone and let go of dead friendships that no longer serve us.

Throw away grudges, hard feelings, and regrets. Free yourself from the burden of a past we cannot change. Some people and situations are merely a part of your history, not your destiny.

Step out and hold on to God, His Word, and His promises. Let God take over by stepping out of your comfort zone. Letting go and releasing yourself is connected to trusting in God’s sovereignty and His plans for our lives. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to trust in the Lord rather than our own understanding.

Letting go is intertwined with forgiveness, both for ourselves and for others. Ephesians 4:32 advises us to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave us.

Once we let go of the things or people that hurt us, true healing and growth can begin, leading to a deeper faith in God. Start now—let it loose, drop it, release it, or just let it go! What’s to come is so much better than what’s behind. Believe me, I’m literally living in answered prayers!
