God did not make a mistake when He made you. He made you with a purpose and a plan in mind.

Psalm 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knows right well.

I have always been amazed at how things are created. Everything from mountains, beaches, waterfalls and even the simplest creation of flower vase.  I often find myself watching videos online where someone can take something ordinary, like a piece of clay and create a beautiful masterpiece. Lately, I’ve become amazed at the beauty of butterflies and how is it that not two are the same. Perhaps it is a table or maybe a chair or even crochet blanket or scarf. I have even seen some beautiful statues of animals made from wood and many other things. It's amazing to see the thought that goes into making these things. The pieces must fit just perfectly. They all must work together. One piece is important for the next piece to work as it should.

That is exactly how things are in our lives and with God's work in our lives. As David writes in this Psalm, we are fearfully and wonderfully made. The idea behind those words is that when compared to all the other things in creation, nothing compares to the details that God used in creating us. That's a humbling thought if you truly think of it.

Think of how beautiful the mountains are and how much detail God put into placing them in their positions. Think about the vast depths of the oceans and the amazing detail that lies below the surface that we continue to learn about. If you think about all the details that this world has and how it all works together, yet “we” are created more wonderfully than all those things. All the parts of our bodies, no matter how imperfect, work together for the glory of God. God did not make a mistake when He made you and me. He made us with a purpose and a plan in mind. He put both the shattered and reconstructed pieces of your life together just as He wanted them to be. We may not understand all the things in our lives right now, but we must trust that God is in control and is using His wonderful creation for His purpose. I wanted to share this quick thought with everyone after speaking with a beautiful spirited courageous woman this morning. God wants us to feel His love for us in every way that is good, that too is in his plan and purpose. Always remember, you are not here by chance, His hand formed you, He compares you to nothing else. YOU are one of a kind! He has allowed you to be here at this time to fulfill His special purpose and for His Glory. YOU ARE NOT A MISTAKE.
